The Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund’s CIO, Walter Koziol, is stepping down from his role.

The Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund’s CIO, Walter Koziol, is stepping down from his role, Pensions & Investments reports. The $25.3 billion fund is seeking an executive recruiting firm to assist in the appointment of a new CIO.

The new candidate will work under Louis Kosiba, IMRF executive director. The retirement fund’s board is planning to assist Kosiba in assessing candidates and in the selection.
