Artemis Investment Management has secured £70 million for its new Global Energy Fund from retail investors, Financial Times reports. The fund is managed by John Dodd and tracks the MSCI All Countries Energy Index. The fund will hold a concentrated portfolio of about 30 stocks from the oil and gas, energy transmission and generation and renewable energy sectors, adds Fund Web. The fund will also invest in private companies that are planning initial public offerings.
