NBO To Sell $600M In Bonds

National Bank of Oman intends to raise $600 million in a sale of bonds.

National Bank of Oman (NBO) intends to raise $600 million in a sale of bonds, Zawya reports .The issue will be partly used for repaying a $325 million syndicated loan that matures by next year. The euro medium term note program or bond issue will be floated by 2012. The Omani bank plans to raise dollar dominated funds from overseas markets.
