Ohio Public Employees Retirement System has terminated its two emerging managers-of-managers.

Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS) has terminated its two emerging managers-of-managers, Pensions & Investments reports. Leading Edge Investment Advisors and Progress Investment Management were together running $400 million in an emerging manager-of-managers portfolio.

The retirement system’s board voted to internally manage the emerging managers program last month. The portfolio has a target range of 1% to 2% of externally managed assets, or $250 million to $500 million.
