Midas Capital Founder To Leave

The founder of MAM Funds subsidiary, Midas Capital, is retiring from the firm in September.

The founder of MAM Funds subsidiary, Midas Capital, is retiring from the firm in September, Investment Week reports. Simon Edwards manages the £311 million CF Midas Balanced Growth fund with Simon Callow, who will now take charge of the fund.

Edwards, who established Liverpool-based Midas Capital Partners in 2002, was previously managing the investment management of the £3 billion Merseyside Pension Fund. Formerly, he has also worked for Credit Suisse First Boston as a director.
