Park Square Capital has raised €850 million for its new mezzanine portfolio, Financial Times reports. The independent provider of credit products in Europe has raised the capital to invest in loans for leveraged buy-outs.
The firm has already allocated a third of the new fund’s capital to seven private equity-led transactions and will invest the remaining over five years. Around 80% of the capital was raised from pension funds, insurance companies and sovereign wealth funds from Europe, Asia and North America, adds Global Pensions.
