RBC Dexia Investor Services has appointed Simon Shapland as its new managing director for the U.K. operations. Shapland will lead the U.K. management committee and will be responsible for both the business strategy and for employee relations. Replacing Simon Olenka, Shapland will be reporting to global head, sales & distribution, Tony Johnson. Shapland joined RBC Dexia in 2006 as regional head of sales and relationship management for the U.K., Ireland and the Middle East.
