Discover Financial Services has appointed Mark Graf as executive vice president, CFO and chief accounting officer. He will be managing the operations of the direct banking and payment services company, reporting to chairman and CEO, David Nelms. Graf will replace Roy Guthrie, who was CFO for six years and will remain with Discover to help ensure a smooth transition. Graf is joining Discover from New York-based Aquiline Capital Partners, where he was an investment advisor.
