Egypt sold a total of $509 million in its treasury bills, which is $254.3 million less than it planned to offer, Reuters reports. The nation received $712.1 million in bids for the 266-day bills, but the yields were higher than what the Finance Ministry was willing to pay. The finance ministry also sold $169.5 million of 91-day bills. The bills were sold at a yield of 11.49%, which is 39 basis points higher than the previous sale on March 1.
