Around six bidders have been granted access to Metroweb’s financial data to assess their offers, Bloomberg reports. Wind Telecomunicazioni and Antin Infrastructure Partners are in talks to acquire the Italian fiber-optic network provider.

Vodafone Group, Axa Private Equity’s infrastructure unit, Clessidra and groups formed by Intesa Sanpaolo and F2i are also among bidders for the Milan-based company. Metroweb was acquired by London-based private equity firm, Stirling Square Capital Partners, in 2006.
