Plains Exploration and Production has raised $600 million in a sale of senior notes.

Plains Exploration and Production has raised $600 million in a sale of senior notes, Reuters reports. The bonds, which carry a coupon rate of 6.62%, will mature on May 1, 2021. The U.S. petroleum company has increased the size of the deal from the originally planned $300 million. The joint book-running managers for the sale were JP Morgan, Barclays, BMO Capital, BNP Paribas, Scotia and Wells Fargo.
