Axa Investment Managers has appointed Gary Chan as a portfolio manager, Investment Week reports. Based in London, Chan is in charge of covering China and the financials sector. In his new position, he will work under Julian Thompson, head of global emerging markets at Axa Framlington. Most recently, he was working with Charlemagne Capital as emerging markets analyst looking at the financial sector in Asian emerging markets.
