Knight Capital Group has appointed George Sohos as head of its electronic trading group (ETG). In his new role, Sohos will be reporting to chairman and CEO of Knight Capital, Thomas Joyce. Sohos joined the market access and trade execution services provider in 2000 and has been a member of the senior ETG management team since 2005. Prior to this, he was a software engineer at IBM and as a senior scientist at Enviro Engineering.
