Goldman Names Partnership Body Chairman

Goldman Sachs has appointed Michael Sherwood as chairman of its partnership committee.

Goldman Sachs has appointed Michael Sherwood as chairman of its partnership committee, Financial Times reports. The Europe co-head of the bank is replacing Gary Cohn, president and deputy to Lloyd Blankfein, Goldman’s CEO. Sherwood joined Goldman Sachs as a partner in 1994. He is co-CEO of Goldman Sachs International and one of the three vice-chairmen at the bank.
