Insight Communications Seeks $4B Sale

Insight Communications is seeking to sell itself.

Insight Communications is seeking to sell itself, Reuters reports. The U.S. cable operator, controlled by Carlyle Group, is seeking between $3.5 billion and $4 billion from the sale. The company has hired Bank of America Merrill Lynch and UBS to run the process. Potential buyers include Time Warner Cable, Cablevision Systems, Charter Communications and Suddenlink Communications.
