IBM will purchase software maker, Tririga, for an undisclosed amount.

IBM will purchase software maker, Tririga, for an undisclosed amount, The Associated Press reports. The acquisition will help IBM accelerate its smarter buildings initiatives, which uses technology for tasks, such as improving energy efficiency and cutting down on printing. Tririga, whose products make operations and management of real estate more efficient, will be a part of the IBM Tivoli Software and IBM Global Business Services divisions. The deal is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2011.
