Merrill Lynch Wealth Management has appointed Alberto Podio as a financial advisor in Madrid, Wealth Briefing reports. In his new role, Podio will work under Rafael Ximenez de Embun, Merrill’s market manager for the Iberia region. Most recently, Podio was at Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild as a senior manager working with high and ultra high-net-worth Spaniards. Prior to that, he has also worked at Sarasin Alen and BNP Paribas Private Bank.
