Spread betting and CFD trading provider, City Index, has rolled out a trading application across Android, Windows, BlackBerry and Java platforms. The company has also launched an updated version of its iPhone application, which adds live charting and newsfeeds from Dow Jones Newswires. After the launch of the company’s iPhone spread betting and CFD trading application, City Trading, the percentage of total trades placed on the company’s mobile platforms has increased to 15% from less than 3%. City Trading was first launched in 2009 to provide clients full and secure access to their trading accounts on mobile phones.
