Santander Asset Management has appointed José Martínez-Sanjuán as new head of third party funds, Citywire reports. He is joining the fund selection department of Santander AM from the firm’s affiliate, Banco Banif. At Banco Banif, Martínez-Sanjuán was head of fund research and alternative investments analysis head. Prior to this, he has also served at Banco Urquijo, Caja Madrid and Barclays Bank.
