Windstream is seeking to raise around $600 million in sale of senior notes.

Windstream is seeking to raise around $600 million in sale of senior notes. The U.S. broadband and telecom company’s securities carry a 7.50% coupon rate and are due to mature on April 1, 2023.

The Arkansas-based company intends to use the proceeds from the sale to repurchase up to $600 million of its 8.625% senior notes that mature in 2016. Windstream has around $1.75 billion of the notes outstanding, adds The Wall Street Journal.
