UBS Appoints IBD Co-Heads

Swiss bank UBS has appointed Matthew Grounds and Simon Warshaw to its investment banking advisory business.

Swiss bank UBS has appointed Matthew Grounds and Simon Warshaw to its investment banking advisory business, The Wall Street Journal reports. The duo will join Jimmy Neissa as joint global heads of the investment bank department (IBD). Grounds will be based in Sydney, Warshaw in London and Neissa in New York, adds Reuters. Grounds will remain the country head of the bank’s Australian arm. Warshaw was already head of investment banking for Europe at UBS.
