Bedfordshire Pension Fund has appointed Hymans Robertson as its new investment consultant.

Bedfordshire Pension Fund has appointed Hymans Robertson as its new investment consultant, Pensions & Investment reports. The advisor has replaced Aon Hewitt, whose contract with the £1.25 billion fund expired in 2010. Hymans will be responsible for conducting an asset-liability study, which is expected to be completed later this year. The fund had 41% in equities, 22.5% in a passive multiasset strategy, 11.5% in bonds and 8.5% in real estate, according to the latest annual report March 31, 2010.
