Vattenfall Picks Deutsche For Asset Sale

Swedish utility, Vattenfall, has appointed Deutsche Bank to manage its proposed asset sale.

Swedish utility, Vattenfall, has appointed Deutsche Bank to manage its proposed asset sale, The Wall Street Journal reports. Vattenfall is planning to sell its operations in Poland, Finland and Denmark as it seeks to divest assets not considered central to its business. The businesses are estimated to be worth about €2.5 billion. Deutsche Bank will work with Danske Bank on the Danish and Finnish sales, while ING will help in the sale of the Polish assets.
