Ex-Congressman Joins Morgan Stanley

Former Congressman and Merrill Lynch banker, Harold Ford, is joining Morgan Stanley.

Former Congressman and Merrill Lynch banker, Harold Ford, is joining Morgan Stanley, Financial Times reports. Ford, who had joined Merrill in 2007, will be a senior client manager at Morgan Stanley.

He will work under Greg Fleming, who now manages the bank’s investment-management unit, and Paul Taubman, co-president of the institutional securities division. Ford was vice chairman and senior policy adviser at Merrill Lynch for four years.
