Morgan Stanley Smith Barney has appointed Colbert Narcisse as COO, investment strategy and solutions, The Wall Street Journal reports. Narcisse will replace James Walker, who has been named head of Morgan Stanley’s investment-consulting group in September. In his new role, Narcisse will be responsible for investment strategy and solutions. Most recently, he was working with Gold Bullion International. Prior to that, he has also served at Merrill Lynch.
