Freddie Mac COO Resigns

Bruce Witherell, COO of Freddie Mac, has quit from his current role in the firm.

Bruce Witherell, COO of Freddie Mac, has quit from his current role in the firm, Financial Times reports. He will leave the U.S. lender without any termination benefits in line with policy. Witherell, who had previously worked for Morgan Stanley as managing director and global co-head of the residential mortgage business, joined the Virginia-based bank in August 2009, adds Citybizlist Real Estate. Prior to that, he held various roles at Lehman Brothers.
