Credit Suisse has appointed Phil Cutts as managing director and CEO of its U.K. private bank, effective April 11, 2011, Financial News reports. Based in London, he has also become a member of the executive committee.
Cutts has succeeded Ian Marsh, who stepped down from his role in November 2011. Most recently, Cutts was serving at Royal Bank of Canada as director of international wealth management.
