State Street has appointed Giovanni Caricati as its COO in Italy, Fundamentals reports. He will be responsible for working in the bank’s global services business and for about 380 employees within fund services, custody and depository.
Caricati will report to Riccardo Lamanna, who heads the business in the country. Prior to this Caricati has also worked with Intesa San Paolo and Nextra Investment Management.
