Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) has appointed Mark Horsfall as managing director and head of global energy, Reuters reports. Prior to this, Horsfall was managing Canadian energy coverage for Morgan Stanley.
Horsfall takes over as energy head from Art Korpach, who has been promoted to vice-chairman at CIBC. Korpach will move into a senior client coverage role, focusing on energy and utilities and using the relationships he has developed in the sector to source transactions.
