Tony Hayward, former CEO of BP, is in discussion to launch a new oil firm in Abu Dhabi, The Telegraph reports. The plan is still in its initial stages.

The new oil firm will have several billion dollars in funding from Abu Dhabi’s sovereign wealth fund. Hayward stepped down as BP CEO in September 2010, following the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
