Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BofA) has appointed Tim Johnston as head of equity capital markets (ECM) for Canada. In his new role, he will manage equity capital markets products for the firm’s corporate clients.
Johnston will work under Frank Maturo and Peter Chapman, New York-based co-heads of Americas ECM as well as regional management in Toronto. Previously, Johnston served at RBC Capital Markets in Toronto and New York in equity markets and investment banking roles.
