Poland’s mobile company, Polkomtel, may receive a bid from Latin American wireless carrier, America Movil, Reuters reports. Polkomtel expects to raise about €4 billion from the auction. Egypt’s Orascom Telecom, Nordic operator TeliaSonera, Spain’s Telefonica and Norway’s Telenor may also be interested in the auction. Vodafone and some state-backed Polish companies will sell Polkomtel.
