President Barack Obama has proposed in his fiscal 2012 budget a user fee on the “regulated community” to help fund the U.S. Commodity Future Exchange Commission’s oversight of the derivatives market, reports Bloomberg.
President Barack Obama has proposed in his fiscal 2012 budget a user fee on the regulated community to help fund the U.S. Commodity Future Exchange Commissions oversight of the derivatives market. The presidents budget plan estimates that such a fee, which requires congressional approval, would raise USD588 million through 2016.
