Four German pension funds have selected Warburg-Henderson to create a €300 million pan-European property Spezialfonds.

Four German pension funds have selected Warburg-Henderson to create a €300 million pan-European property Spezialfonds, IPE reports. The municipal pension funds have partnered to form an institutional real estate fund, which will be investing in office and retail properties in Western Europe. HIH Hamburgische Immobilien Handlung will handle the German part of the portfolio exclusively for Warburg-Henderson, while Henderson Global Investors will take on the other European property holdings. The first property for the vehicle is already in the purchasing phase.
