Ex-Symphony Managers Launch New Firm

Former members of hedge fund, Symphony Asset Management, have launched a new management firm.

Former members of hedge fund, Symphony Asset Management, have launched a new management firm, HFMWeek reports. Michael Henman, Jeff Skelton and Praveen Gottipalli have started Resultant Capital Partners, with Michele McGovern as the COO. The new company will float its first U.S. long/short equity strategy, Resultant Hedged Equity Fund, in February 2011. Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs are the prime brokers. David Wang has been appointed as lead portfolio manager of Resultant.
