Hancock Horizon Funds has launched two new tax-free income portfolios, Sun Herald reports. The funds are the Hancock Horizon Mississippi Tax-Free Income Fund and the Hancock Horizon Louisiana Tax-Free Income Fund.

The funds will offer Hancock’s customers, mutual fund investments in Mississippi and Louisiana tax-exempt bonds, which are managed by local managers. The new portfolios, which have increased the number of mutual fund options of the firm to nine, are the only investment options that will be exempt from federal and state income taxes.
