LSE Delays Market Maker Rules

London Stock Exchange Group has postponed the introduction of new regulations for market makers.

London Stock Exchange Group (LSE) has postponed the introduction of new regulations for market makers, Bloomberg reports. The bourse has pushed back implementing its new market maker rules from March 1 to June 1.

The move has been taken as the exchange plans to shift trading on the main market to its new MillenniumIT trading system on February 14. LSE had proposed the new market makers obligations in August last year.
