HSBC Global Asset Management has appointed Guillermo Osses as head of its emerging markets debt portfolio management, Citywire reports. In his new role, Osses will lead the emerging market debt team and manage the group’s EMD strategies and funds.
He will work under Xavier Barton, the global CIO for fixed income. Most recently, Osses was working with California-based PIMCO, which he joined in 2006.
