Franklin Resources’ subsidiary, Franklin Templeton Global Investors, has acquired Rensburg Fund Management, Investment Week reports. Franklin paid Investec £45 million for Rensburg. Rensburg manages the U.K. Equity Income, U.K. Blue Chip Growth, U.K. Midcap Growth, U.K. Select Growth, U.K. Smaller Companies and U.K. Managers’ Focus funds. Rensburg specializes in U.K. equity investments and has about £935 million in assets under management.
