Former senior executives of French buyout firm, PAI Partners, are planning to launch a new fund, Financial News reports. Dominique Mégret and Bertrand Meunier are in talks with potential investors to raise about €1 billion for the fund.
The new fund will invest in continental European companies valued at between €250 million and €1.5 billion. Megret and Meunier left PAI in 2009, following investment losses.
