TPR Appoints New Chief

The Pensions Regulator has appointed Bill Galvin as its new CEO.

The Pensions Regulator (TPR) has appointed Bill Galvin as its new CEO. Galvin has been acting CEO of TPR since May 2010, after Tony Hobman left to work for the Consumer Financial Education Body.

Previously, Galvin has also served at IBM as strategy consultant managing corporate finance. TPR, the regulator of work-based pension schemes in the U.K. has also named Michael O’Higgins as Chairman.
