RBS Non-Exec Director To Exit

Royal Bank of Scotland’s non-executive director, Colin Buchan, will step down from his role in March.

Royal Bank of Scotland’s non-executive director, Colin Buchan, will step down from his role in March, Financial Times reports. Buchan, a former UBS investment banker, was added to the board in 2002.

He also served as Chairman of RBS’ remuneration committee in February 2009. Buchanan’s exit will coincide with the planned publication by the U.K.’s Financial Services Authority of a report on the regulatory and management failures that led to the bank’s 2009 rescue by the government.
