Italy Raises €3B in Note Sale

Italy has raised a total of €3 billion in a sale of bonds.

Italy has raised a total of €3 billion in a sale of bonds, Bloomberg reports. The five-year term notes were sold at a yield of 3.67%, up from 3.24%.

The securities that rose in the secondary market were sold on Nov. 12, 2011. Additionally, the Treasury also placed €3 billion of notes, due 2026 to yield 5.06%, more than the 4.81% at the previous auction.
