ETF Securities USA has reached a total of $3.5 billion in assets under management for six of its products. The ETFS Physical Swiss Gold Shares, the ETFS Physical Silver Shares, the ETFS Physical Platinum Shares, the ETFS Physical Palladium Shares, the ETFS Physical Precious Metals Basket Shares and the ETFS Physical White Metal Basket Shares together achieved the benchmark on Jan. 4, 2011.
The six precious metal ETPs track spot price of underlying metal less associated management fees. ETF Securities provides investors with access to a range of precious metal ETPs, which are physically backed by underlying bullion and have minimal counterparty risk.
