Oregon Assigns $432M To Real Assets

Oregon Investment Council will invest in a new portfolio of real assets/real return.

Oregon Investment Council will invest in a new portfolio of real assets/real return, Pensions & Investments reports. Oregon will allocate 5% of its assets to the new class, including 25-35% to infrastructure, 40-50% to natural resources and 15-25% to hedge funds having low correlation to equity markets. The council will reallocate $432 million of committed capital from three existing funds of its opportunistic portfolio to the new portfolio. Oregon will take $100 million from Sheridan Production Partners, $132 million from Sheridan Production Partners II and $200 million from Alinda Infrastructure II.
