UBS Wealth Management’s previous executive directors, Matthew Hulme and Campbell Gordon, have set up a new wealth management division in the U.K., Citywire reports. The new venture, Pavilion Investment House, will provide clients bespoke multi-asset portfolios, with access to an equity fund that they run with a quantitative process.
The firm will provide clients with exposure to alternatives through a proprietary hedge fund replication strategy. The duo received financing from Martin Weinberg, who founded Winnipeg-based Pavilion in 2006 and was formerly CEO of Canadian financial advisory organization, Assante.
