Janus Capital Group has enhanced its non-U.S. business operation with the appointments of president and portfolio manager. The firm has hired Augustus Cheh as president of Janus Capital International and Hiroshi Yoh as portfolio manager for Asian equity strategies.
Based in Hong Kong, Cheh will report to Janus Capital CEO, Dick Weil and will manage all of Janus’ businesses based outside of the U.S., including Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East. Yoh, who will be based in Singapore, will report to Janus Co-CIO, Jonathan Coleman, and be responsible for managing Janus’ Asian equity portfolios and helping to drive the investment team build out in Asia.
