EPCOR Water will acquire regulated water and wastewater services companies from U.S. water and wastewater utility company, American Water Works. The Canadian utility will pay a total of $470 million for the acquisition. As a part of the agreement, American Water will sell its 100% stake in regulated and wastewater service providers in Arizona and New Mexico. The seller will use the proceeds from the offering to reduce both equity and debt financing.
