Motorola Solutions Commits $100M To PF

Motorola Solutions has signed an agreement with the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation.

Motorola Solutions has signed an agreement with the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC), Pensions & Investments reports. Illinois-based Motorola Solutions, formerly known as Motorola, will make a $100 million contribution to its pension plan in the next five years.

Motorola Solutions will continue to sponsor the plan, which had around $4.09 billion in assets under management as of end of September. The pension plan has been closed to new employees since Jan. 1, 2005.
