Morgan Dempsey Capital Management has launched a small and micro cap mutual fund, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. The Morgan Dempsey Small/Micro Cap Value Fund is the first such fund that uses a value investing approach.
Brian Rafn, a part-owner of the firm, is managing the mutual fund. The portfolio has a concentrated list of holdings, in which the top 10 stocks will typically represent about 40% of the portfolio.
